Baby Nova — Milestone Tracking for Every Family

Privacy & Terms

Last updated: July 15, 2026

Baby Nova was built on a simple principle: your child's data belongs to you, not to us. We collect as little as possible, store nothing about your child on our servers, and are open about everything that leaves your device.

Your data stays on your device

Everything you enter about your child — their name, date of birth, gender, milestone progress, photos, and notes — is stored only on your device. No account, sign-up, or cloud sync is required.

Optional, opt-in analytics

Baby Nova includes optional analytics powered by PostHog (self-hosted on EU infrastructure). It is off by default and only runs if you turn it on. It carries no personal information — no names, dates of birth, photos, or identifiers that trace back to you.

We use it only to fix bugs, improve the app, and share aggregated, anonymous reach figures with the partners who keep Baby Nova free. If you opt in, we may collect:

What we never do

Delete your data anytime

You can delete all app data at any time from Settings — this permanently removes every milestone, photo, note, and profile from your device. If analytics is on, turning it off stops all future collection.

Not medical advice

Baby Nova is a supportive tracking tool — not a medical device or a substitute for professional care. Milestone guidance is based on CDC developmental checklists. Always consult your pediatrician about your child's health, and never rely on the app for diagnosis or in an emergency.

Using Baby Nova

Baby Nova is free for personal, family use. Please don't misuse it, disrupt the service, or use it unlawfully. The app is provided "as is," without warranties, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for decisions made based on the information it provides.
