A Fresh Look: Milestone Rings & a New Vaccine Log
Baby Nova just got a refresh. The milestone timeline has a bright new look, and we’ve added a feature families have been asking for: a vaccine log. Here’s what changed and why.
Milestones as Concentric Rings
Each age on the timeline — from 2 months all the way to 5 years — is now shown as a set of concentric rings. Each ring represents one area of growth:
- Social & Emotional (pink)
- Language (blue)
- Cognitive (purple)
- Movement (green)
As you check off milestones, the rings fill in and the number at the center shows how many you’ve completed at that age — like 9 of 11 for a 2-month-old. It’s progress you can read at a glance, across all four domains, without opening a single screen.
The idea is simple: development isn’t one line moving forward. It’s four areas growing together, at their own pace. The rings make that visible.
A New Vaccine Log
Milestones aren’t the only thing worth tracking in those early years. Baby Nova now includes an immunization log so you can keep your child’s vaccines in the same place as everything else.
The schedule is based on the WHO immunization timeline and organized by age — starting with BCG and the Hepatitis B birth dose, through the 6-week series (Oral Polio, Pentavalent, Pneumococcal, Rotavirus) and beyond. Tap any dose to record the date it was given, and it’s checked off.
Because immunization schedules vary from country to country, the log is a helpful reference — not a replacement for your pediatrician’s advice. Always follow the schedule your doctor recommends.
Still Free, Offline, and Private
Both features follow the same principles Baby Nova was built on. Everything lives on your device — your child’s milestones and vaccine records never leave your phone. No accounts, no servers, no ads. Just a clearer, more complete picture of your little one’s growth.
